Saying No Means There's a Better Yes On the Way

Do you struggle with saying no?
My spiritual bestie, Kay, sent me sunflower seeds to plant and here is the first bloom :)

Here are my latest offerings:

Growth is hard. These tools and services are meant to make things easier and better. I am here to help!

Today we’re going to talk about the door-opening beauty of saying no. Do you struggle with saying no? Do you always feel like you have to say yes to the things people or clients ask of you?

Then this article is for you.

I used to be that person. I’d always had a packed schedule full of school (or work), sports (or exercise), social engagements. I’d go out in big groups and come home totally drained, lol.

When people would ask me to do things, I’d always say yes. I was always the friend who’d show up for everybody else - all their presentations, accolades, weddings, etc.

I was always on the phone with some friend going through a rocky patch of their life, or a breakup, listening and absorbing, supporting and giving.

I’d put their needs before mine, and eventually end up resentful and bitter, because my needs weren’t met!

Eventually, I had to learn to say no to others and yes to myself (and if we want to talk root causes, this is a worthiness issue).

And recently, I’ve had to say no in business, so I wanted to give you a few examples of this and a bit of hope for your life in case you are also going through this.
