Greetings beautiful soul and welcome back! Welcome to our new subscribers! Happy to have you join us ⭐
Today’s post is about how to go from doomed to dharma. Dun dun dunnnnnn….
I know what it’s like to enter a career crisis - and have a huge shift in consciousness where you are questioning your career and your purpose. I know what it’s like to feel unfulfilled, anxious, confused, and drained by the work you are doing, all of a sudden.
I know what it’s like to go from loving your work to absolutely hating it!!! And I also know how to find your purpose and create meaningful work you love, from soul.
I went from being a burned out clinical pharmacist to a spiritual coach, healer, teacher, & entrepreneur over the last few years.
It’s not an easy thing to go through. It’s a reckoning. And I’m here to walk you through how to get from doomed to dharma.
What Is Dharma?
Taken from my book, It Can Be Done: Learn to Create Meaningful Work You Love -- ““Dharma itself means “to support, bear, or hold”. Dharma is a natural law of the universe that maintains order and harmonizes with universal unfolding. At the intersection of your passion, your unique skills and talents, who you serve, and what their needs are: that’s your dharma. Dharma is the unique expression of who-you-really-are. Only you can express your dharma. Even if your dharma seems “similar” to another person’s. Nobody else can do what you do the way you do it! Just the same as, you could never express another person’s dharma and feel good about it. The part of you that knows, your soul, already knows what your dharma is.””

Why Learn How to Go From Doomed to Dharma?
We are in a pivotal moment of human history, a Great Awakening, if you will. The old ways of being are no longer enough. Working for a paycheck, without intrinsic value, motivation, purpose, and meaning is no longer viable.
The old ways of doing things meant striving for bottom lines, without much care for the human spirit. And this is why we are coming up on a big shift. Many of us chose careers based on things like recognition, approval, external validation, and perceived “safety”. But this isn’t enough. This big shift is showing us that intrinsic purpose, motivation, and values, matter.
What we are also seeing is industries dying, shifting, and blatant disregard for people’s well-being and safety.
Learning how to go from doomed to dharma means that whatever is happening in your industry doesn’t have to rock you, because you are an inherently creative and resourceful being. Meaning, that no matter what, you are always safe and able to intuit creative solutions to creating meaningful work you love - regardless of outside or economic circumstances. Whether that’s by working for yourself or attracting another job opportunity.
What Is Going From Doomed to Dharma?
Going from doomed to dharma means shifting out of anxiousness, confusion, panic, and maybe even burnout into ease, flow, grace, and creativity.
Going from doomed to dharma also means refusing to bend to fit others’ wills, perceptions, or expectations of you, and operating from your core instead.
Doomed to dharma means finally feeling peaceful, aligned, satisfied, and at ease, knowing that you are continuing on your soul-aligned path, living your truth, and embodying your Highest Self, unapologetically.
Doomed to dharma means factoring in your own core values, your own spirit, your own creativity, and your own joy, to create meaningful work you love, from your soul’s essence.
Doomed to dharma means feeling really good about the work that you do and reaching your full potential as a person!
How to Go From Doomed To Dharma
I’m going to walk you through step-by-step how to go from doomed to dharma so that you can relax and breathe again. You don’t have to take any drastic steps. You don’t have to quit your job today, if that doesn’t feel right to you. But you can take necessary steps now to create a better future for yourself.
Acknowledge Your Feelings: If you are feeling bored, anxious, discontent, or burned out in your work, the first step is to acknowledge and allow these feelings to come up. They are your indicators that something is amiss, and they need to be felt.
Seek Universal Support: Up until now, you created your career from ego - using the help of cultural or familial conditioning, schooling, and other influences. The only way you’ll find your dharma is to tune into your spiritual, soulful nature. Ask your spirit guides, acting in your highest interest, for help!
Prioritize Joy: Previously, you created your career through duty & obligation. And on many levels, learning to settle or trade parts of you in order to gain a paycheck. But whenever you are in joy, you are in your purpose. Whenever you are in joy, you are expressing your soul to the fullest. Make a list of times you feel joy throughout the day - write it down and DO things on that list regularly.
Improve Your Mindset: What got you here, won’t get you there. Everything you created right now was created from past, outdated beliefs. You have to revamp your beliefs, and heal any childhood wounding and shadows that are holding you back from living your dharma. As you raise your vibration, opposing forces reveal themselves. Tend to them and watch yourself bloom.
Review What You’ve Overcome: Your past (and even your present) hold the keys to your dharma. What did you overcome as a kid? Where did your natural gifts reveal themselves? What gifts were you not celebrated for? How did that shape and strengthen you? What are you overcoming right now?
Intuit Next Steps: You created your current career based on what everyone else told you to do, meaning, you weren’t given the chance to listen to your intuition. You took the “straight path” because it seemed to be more stable. But it isn’t. Now is your chance to listen to your own intuition and inner wisdom and make the best choices for you.
Take Next Steps: Without action, nothing changes. Your intuition carries the keys to unlocking your dharma and creating meaningful work you love, from soul. Intuitive action feels really, really good. But also, really scary, because it’s going to be things you’ve never done before. When you take next steps, even if you misstep, the universe will course correct you to the right way. Meaning - you’ll always get back on track, so you can’t really go wrong. Take those next steps!
What Happens If You Follow These Steps?
Step-by-step, you begin to create a meaningful life you love. Creating meaningful work means creating a meaningful life first. There’s no getting around this. There’s no hiding, there’s no excuses left, there’s no playing small so everyone else can be comfortable. There’s no downplaying certain parts of yourself so that you can be approved of. There’s just you - all of you - making a conscious choice to explore and embody a better life for yourself.
Takeaway
Going from doomed to dharma means shifting from ego to higher levels of consciousness. Going from doomed to dharma means yes, there are creative solutions available to you that will allow you to move away from constant stress, anxiety, overwork, and disconnection, to creating meaningful work you love, fully and authentically, from your soul. Going from doomed to dharma means moving from victimhood and playing small to empowerment and being your fullest, most authentic self.
